The estate is located in the Stratzing municipality near the city Krems
in the Lower Austrian wine region Kremstal
, The winegrower's house was bought by the great-grandfather of today's manager Maria Graf-Faltl in 1890 and has been passed down through generations. The Koststüberl dates from the 16th century and is decorated with Renaissance rosettes. In the upper part of the cellar, the Gothic vault dates from the 14th to 15th centuries. The vineyards cover six hectares of vineyards in most of the large Krems location sandpit
that are planted with the varieties Grüner Veltliner, Rivaner, Malvasier ( Frühroter Veltliner
), Chardonnay and Blauer Zweigelt. The management follows the guidelines of the KIP
(Controlled Integrated Production). The fermentation and expansion of the wines takes place in the stainless steel tank with the aim of fruit-emphasized and varietal wines. Special red wines mature in barriques. Fruit brandies (apricot, plum, pear, elder) are also produced, grape brandies partly matured in barriques, and naturally cloudy juices (apple-carrot, grape).
