The white grape variety (also Würzburg B 55-8-59) is a new breed between (Riesling x Silvaner) x Müller-Thurgau. Incidentally, the same parents also gave rise to the Bacchus variety. The crossing took place at the Bavarian State Institute for Viticulture in Würzburg (Bavaria Lower Franconia, Germany). No stock was reported in 2016 (Kym Anderson).
