DOC area for white wines, red wines and rosé wines in the Italian region of Puglia The zone includes the municipalities of Gravina in the province of Puglia, and Poggiorsini and parts of Altamura and Spinazzola in the province of Bari. The Bianco (also as Spumante) is blended from Greco di Tufo = Greco (50%), Malvasia Bianca Lunga (20%), as well as Fiano, Verdeca, Bianco d'Alessano and Chardonnay (max. 30%). The Passito is made from Malvasia Bianca Lunga. Rosso and Rosato are blended from Montepulciano (40%), Primitivo = Tribidrag (20%), and Aglianico, Uva di Troia = Nero di Troia, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon (max. 30%).
