The New Zealand winery "Gravitas Saint Arnaud's Vineyard" is located next to Saint Arnaud in the Wairau Valley in the area Marlborough (South Iceland). It is owned by Martyn and Pamela Nicholls. Martyn is a career changer from the banking industry. The winery is considered an absolute climber and is celebrated with descriptions like "A star is born". All 80,000 vines are recorded by computer. It works with extremely low yields of only 25 to 30 hectoliters per hectare. Outstanding is the Sauvignon Blanc produced in yeast storage. Other varieties are Chardonnay, Riesling and Pinot Noir. There is also a Vin de Paille (straw wine) from Sauvignon Blanc and sparkling wine produced.
