The red grape variety comes from France, Synonyms are Barbarossa Verduna, Barbaroux, Cipár, Ciparka, Grec Rosé, Grisa Rossa, Kalebstraube , Pulitana and Rabigato Franco. Due to apparently indicative synonyms or morphological No similarities with the varieties Barbaroux or Rosé du Vár (Grec Rosé) can be confused. The vine produces light red, neutral tasting wines that are used as a blend. It is also as table grape suitable. No stocks were shown in 2010 (Kym Anderson ).
