The parts of the name Greco and Grechetto, which are very common in Italy in grape variety names (main names and synonyms) do not necessarily have to be Greek, but may indicate Greek origin. In any case, the often very similar names lead to great confusion. As the DOC regulations often only mention Grechetto, it is not clear which variety(ies) are actually involved:
