Synonyms are Grechetto, Grechetto Bianco, Grechetto Spoletino, Greco, Greco Spoletino, Montanarino Bianco, Montanaro, Occhietto, Pistillo, Pizzinculko, Pocinculo, Pulce, Pulcinculo Bianco and Strozzavolpe. The "Greco" could possibly indicate a Greek origin.
