The white grape variety (also Garusot Gris) is an interspecific new breed between Sylvaner ( Sylvaner ) x Solonis, They are genes from Vitis riparia and Vitis vinifera contain. The crossing of the hybrid took place in France by the private breeder Eugène Kuhlmann (1858-1932) at the Oberlin Institute in Colmar-Alsace. It is used as a wine grape. No holdings were reported in 2010 (Kym Anderson ).
