Gutknipperlé

The white grape (also Gutkniperlé) is a new breed between Knipperlé x Chasselas, The name results from Gutedel (synonym for Chasselas) and the mother places, The crossing took place in France by the breeder Christian Oberlin (1831-1915) at his institute near Volmar in Alsace. She was also especially in the Alsace cultivated, but today as well as the father's place has hardly any meaning.
