Guyot

According to the French physicist and scientist Dr. Jules Guyot (1807-1872) named educational system, also called the lower espalier referred to as. The system is in France (especially Bordeaux and Burgundy ) Italy and Spain as well as under the name stretch bow (one shoot on one side) or double stretch bow (two shoots to the left and right) also in Germany and Austria applied. At the pruning the second closest fruit rod (longer shoot ) left to six to fifteen eyes cut, then bent and tied to the lowest wire.
