H. Bader

The estate is located in the commune of Kernen-Stetten (Remstal-Stuttgart area) in the German wine-growing region Wuerttemberg, It is managed by Hans and Iris Bader. The vineyards cover six hectares of vineyards in the individual layers of Häder, Lindhälder, Mönchberg and Pulvermächer (Stetten). They are made with the white varieties Riesling (40%), Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Blanc and Saphira, as well as with the red varieties Pinot Noir, Dornfelder, Heroldrebe, Lemberger (Blaufränksich), Blauer Portugieser, Zweigelt, Trollinger (Schiava Grossa), Merlot, Regent, Hegel, Cabertin and Cabernet Dorsa planted. It becomes natural, environmentally friendly viticulture with Integrated crop protection practiced. Quality-enhancing measures are short pruning and yield reduction. The white wines mature in stainless steel, the red wines in traditional, large wooden barrels, the "Iris" line and premium Pinot Noir in new barriques. Bottle-fermented sparkling wines, sparkling wines and brandies (pomace, yeast) are also produced. The winery is a member of the associations Württembergische Weingüter, Remstal-Route, Slow Food Germany and Generation Riesling. The wine of the winery is also in the cellar of the company Singer Julian vinified. In the vinotheque "Weinkorb" (basket), the wines are offered by both.
