, It was founded in 1926 by Heinrich and Elisabeth Freiberger and further expanded his two sons. Today it is in the third generation of Heinz sen. and Heinz jun. Freiberger led. The vineyards cover 15.5 hectares of vineyards in Heppenheim individual layers Eckweg, Guldenzoll, Maiberg, Schlossberg, Steinkopf
and Stemmler. They are two-thirds with the varieties Riesling (7.6 ha) and Ruländer (3 ha), and Pinot Noir, Müller-Thurgau, Sylvaner, Pinot Blanc, Gewürztraminer, Kerner, Chardonnay, Johanniter, Dornfelder and St. Laurent planted. It is practiced near-natural viticulture. Some of the wines are traditionally aged in large wooden barrels and partly in stainless steel tanks. It also produces sparkling wines, sparkling wines, brandies, Hefeweinbrände, pomace brandies and liqueurs.
