The red grape variety originates from Armenia. Synonyms are Adice, Adici, Adisi and Adissi. The parentage is unknown. The variety was a crossing partner in the new varieties Echmiadzini, Eraskh and Karmrahyut. The vine produces wines with exotic aromas. No stock was recorded in 2016 (Kym Anderson statistics).
The glossary is a monumental achievement and one of the most important contributions to wine knowledge. Of all the encyclopaedias I use on the subject of wine, it is by far the most important. That was the case ten years ago and it hasn't changed since.
