The winery is located in the municipality of Hohenwarth in the wine-growing region of Weinviertel in Lower Austria. It has been run by Fritz and Daniela Hagenbüchl since 2003. The vineyards include vineyards in the Hochstrass, Laaer Berg, Neubirg and Rindersberg vineyards. They are planted with the white wine varieties Grüner Veltliner, Roter Veltliner, Frühroter Veltliner, Müller-Thurgau and Chardonnay, as well as with the red wine varieties Zweigelt, Blauburger and Blauer Portugieser. Natural, environmentally friendly viticulture is consistently practised. Quality criteria are targeted foliage work, thinning out to reduce yields and the "100 berry test" to determine the ideal harvest time. The grapes are gently processed separately by variety and vineyard. The white wines are fermented at a cool temperature to preserve the bouquet of the grapes. The blue grapes are vinified into fruity red wines after the traditional mash fermentation. The premium wines include, for example, Weinviertel DAC Laaer Berg (Grüner Veltliner), Roter Veltliner Laaer Berg and the red wine cuvée "Pathos" (Zweigelt, Blauburger). Grape juice, sparkling wine and red wine liqueur are also produced. The winery is a member of the Weinviertel Winegrowers' Association.

Serious sources on the internet are rare - and Wine lexicon from wein.plus is one such source. When researching for my articles, I regularly consult the wein.plus encyclopaedia. There I get reliable and detailed information.
