Hardtberg

single vineyard in the municipality of Dernau in the German wine-growing region of Ahr. The southeast to west-facing vineyards at 125 to 260 metres above sea level with a slope of 10 to 60% cover 22 hectares of vineyards. The soils consist of weathered greywacke with loess and sloping loam in the lower areas. The varieties cultivated here are Pinot Noir, Frühburgunder and Müller-Thurgau. The Ahr Winzer eG, Bertram Julia, Kreuzberg, Maibachfarm, Meyer-Näkel, Jean Stodden, Riske Erwin and Riske Reinhold, for example, have shares in the vineyard. There is another single vineyard called Hardtberg in the Ahr municipality of Rech.
