Hatschbourg

One of the Alsace (Haut-Rhin) sites classified as Grand Cru within the Alsace Grand Cru appellation. The vineyards cover 47 hectares of vineyards on sandy limestone marl soil in the two communes of Hattstadt and Voegtlinshoffen. They are ideal for Gewürztraminer, Pinot Gris and Riesling, as well as for Muscat Blanc, which is grown in small quantities. Well-known producers are A. L. Baur, Buecher-Fix, Joseph Cattin, Ginglinger-Fix, André Hartmann, Gilbert Meyer and Wolfberger.
