Sub-area in the AOC area Montravel; see there.

Appellation for white wines and only since the 2003 vintage also for red wines (until then these were produced under AOC Bergerac) in the north of the region of south-west France. It lies as an enclave in the far west of the large Bergerac appellation. Adjacent to it to the west is the Bordeaux appellation Côtes de Castillon.
