The winery is located in the cadastral municipality of Kleinriedenthal (municipality of Retz) in the Lower Austrian wine-growing region of Weinviertel. The winery is run by the third generation of Manfred Hebenstreit, with all family members involved. The vineyards cover 17 hectares in the Altenberge, Breiteln, Fuchsenberg, Haidsatz, Herberge, Lange Haide, Mitterpoint and Schatzberg vineyards. They are 70% planted with the white wine varieties Grüner Veltliner, Riesling, Welschriesling, Chardonnay and Pinot Blanc, and 30% with the red wine varieties Blauer Portugieser, Blauburgunder, Blauburger, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Zweigelt.

In order to find the optimal time for the grape harvest, the entire vegetation process is used and not only the sugar gradation. To determine the physiological ripeness, the berries are continuously tasted and the degree of discolouration of the pips is observed. The wines are vinified with the aim of achieving regional typicity. The white wines are matured in stainless steel tanks, the red wines in large wooden barrels or barriques. Premium wines are various wines Weinviertel DAC and Weinviertel DAC Reserve (Grüner Veltliner), Riesling Herberge and the red wine cuvée "Schatzberg".
