Hillinger

The winery is located in the municipality Jois in the Burgenland wine region Lake Neusiedl (Austria). The family has been involved in viticulture for several generations. After long years of teaching and hiking in Europe and overseas (South Africa, New Zealand, Australia, California), Leo Hillinger (* 1967) took over the management of his parents' company in 1990. The property at that time comprised only one hectare of vineyards with a wine trade. Leo Hillinger carried out major structural reforms. A new production facility with the latest cellar technology, tasting longue and seminar room was built at a cost of six million euros and put into operation in May 2004. The production hall is one of the most modern wine-growing facilities in Europe. Wine seminars, wine cellar tours, wine tastings and vineyard picnics are organized.

Hillinger - company building

In Parndorf, a "flagship store" was opened in the Designer Outlet in 2005, in which only their own wines are marketed. With the Constantia Glen winery in the historic area Constantia in South Africa there is a joint venture. Two wines are produced here under the Constantia Hill brand name.
