single vineyard in the municipality of Guntersblum (Nierstein area) in the German wine-growing region of Rheinhessen. The name indicates either "good cultivated land" or a former old monastery estate. The east-facing vineyards with 5 to 10% slopes cover 49 hectares of vines at 90 to 150 metres above sea level. The soils consist of loess mixed with limestone and sandy loam. The varieties cultivated here include Riesling, Silvaner, Pinot Blanc, Pinot Gris, Pinot Noir and Dornfelder. The Bunn Lisa, Domhof Baumann, Evangelical Church of Hesse and Nassau, Rappenhof and Rheinterrassenhof wineries, for example, have shares in the site.
