Hirschhof

The estate is located in the community Westhofen (Wonnegau area) in the German wine-growing region Rheinhessen, The origin dates back to the year 1466. An ancestor of the family Zimmer named Michael rescued his sovereign from an attacking stag and received the lands, the coat of arms and the name. Since then, the estate remained in the family's possession. Today it is run by Annette and Walter Zimmer (sen.) And Ellen and Tobias Zimmer (jun.). The emblem of a deer's head also adorns the bottle labels. The vineyards cover 25 hectares of vineyards in the individual layers Aulerde. parish, Kreuzkapellle, Morstein, Rotenstein and Steingrube (Westhofen), Iron Hand, Himmeltal and Steinberg (Guntersblum), and Hellfire (Gundersheim).
