The estate is located in the community Oestrich-Winkel in the German wine-growing region Rheingau
, The family has been practicing viticulture since the 17th century. In 1860 Johann Hirschmann acquired the historic manor house, in whose old vaulted cellar the wines are still being extracted today. The new Kellerbau 2007 managed next to place for modern viticulture technology. The company is managed today by Christoph and Gabriele Hirschmann. The vineyards cover six hectares of vineyards in the layers Doosberg

(Angle), as well as nobleman (middle home). They are mainly planted with Riesling, as well as some Pinot Noir. The Rieslings are matured in steel tanks, the Pinot Noir in large wooden barrels. In suitable years also Beerenauslese and ice wines are pressed. There are also bottled fermented Riesling sect, and Riesling brandy produced.
