The estate is located in the municipality Gobelsburg (Langenlois) in the Lower Austrian wine region
Kamptal, The history of the traditional family business dates back to 1590, when the family coat of arms was created. In 1985 the estate was taken over by Elisbeth and Egmont Höfinger. The two daughters Christine and Johanna already contribute their knowledge and skills in addition to their education. Attached is the cozy restaurant "Rebstockgrill", which was opened in 1983. The vineyards cover about 22 hectares of vineyards in the vineyards Haide, Hofstatt, Hussen, Steinsätz and Thal (Gobelsburg),
Heiligenstein and Kogelberg (Zöbing), as well as Sachsenberg (Hadersdorf). They are planted with the white varieties Grüner Veltliner, Riesling, Pinot Blanc and Chardonnay, as well as with the red varieties Blauer Zweigelt, St. Laurent, Pinot Noir and Merlot.
It is practiced near-natural viticulture. In grape production, the greatest emphasis is on quality-increasing
short pruning, careful leaf work,
thin out from excessive grape garnishment as well as the choice of the optimal reading time. The result is fruity and expressive wines. The premium wines include Grüner Veltliner "Fresh and Fruity", Gobelsburger Steinsätz, Zöbinger Kogelberg and Gobelsburger Alte Hussen (barrique), the two Rieslings "E" Zöbinger Heiligenstein and Kamptaler vineyards, Pinot Blanc "Classic" and barrique, and the reds Blauer Zweigelt , Cuvée Pinot Noir & Merlot and the 12 months in barrique cuvée Egmont from Blauer Zweigelt, St. Laurent and Pinot Noir. In appropriate years also Beerenauslese, Trockenbeerenauslese and ice wines are pressed. It also produces grape juices (Veltliner, Zweigelt) and brandies (wine, pomace).
