Höllberg

Single location in the municipality of Siefersheim (area Bingen ) in the German growing area Rheinhessen, The name refers to the warm climatic conditions. The south-southeast facing vineyards at 170 to 230 meters above sea level with 10 to 30% slope cover 28 hectares of vineyards. They are partly crossed by old dry stone walls. The floors consist of sandy to stony slab with clay in the subsoil, and in the upper plots of stony porphyry weathering with porphyry rock in the subsoil. Here are mainly the varieties Riesling. Sylvaner and Blue Portuguese cultured. The winery, for example, has a share in the location Wagner-Stempel in the core area.

There are further individual layers called Höllberg in the municipalities of Auerbach (growing area Hessian mountain road ), as well as Buggingen and Hügelheim (cultivation area to bathe ).
