The winery is located in the community Breitenbrunn in Burgenland DAC area Leithaberg (Austria). The company is headed by Christof Höpler. The vineyards cover 43 hectares of vineyards in the vineyards Altvierholzer, Hirschäcker, Jungkirchberg, Kirchberg, Rosenberg and Schanz. The white varieties Grüner Veltliner, Pinot Blanc, Chardonnay, Riesling, Sauvignon Blanc and Gewürztraminer, as well as two-thirds of the red varieties Blaufränkisch , Zweigelt, Blauburgunder, St. Laurent, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot are cultivated. Further grapes are delivered by long-term contract growers from the immediate vicinity.
The wines are fermented and aged in wooden barrels or stainless steel tanks. Selected red wines and small quantities of white wines mature in French oak barrels. Special attention is paid to the development of dry white and red wines as well as noble sweet wines. In weather-appropriate years and ice wines are pressed. Particular attention is paid to the needs of sophisticated gastronomy and retailers. More than 70% of production is exported to Germany, Sweden, Denmark, Norway, USA, Hong Kong, Taiwan and Singapore. The international presence is underlined by the cooperation with airlines and shipping lines. Guided tours are organized in the adapted "Höplers Weinräume".
