The winery is located in the municipality of Breitenbrunn in the Leithaberg DAC area of Burgenland (Austria). The company is managed by Christof Höpler. The vineyards cover 43 hectares of vineyards in the Altvierholzer, Hirschäcker, Jungkirchberg, Kirchberg, Rosenberg and Schanz vineyards. One third of the vineyards are planted with the white wine varieties Grüner Veltliner, Pinot Blanc, Chardonnay, Riesling, Sauvignon Blanc and Gewürztraminer, and two thirds with the red wine varieties Blaufränkisch, Zweigelt, Pinot Noir, St. Laurent, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. Additional grapes are supplied by long-standing contract winegrowers from the surrounding area.

The wines are fermented and matured in wooden barrels or stainless steel tanks. Selected red wines and small quantities of white wines are matured in French oak barriques. Special attention is paid to the maturation of dry white and red wines as well as noble sweet wines. In years with suitable weather conditions, ice wines are also produced. Special attention is paid to the needs of the upscale gastronomy and the specialised trade. More than 70% of the production is exported to Germany, Sweden, Denmark, Norway, USA, Hong Kong, Taiwan and Singapore. The international presence is underlined by cooperation with airlines and shipping lines. Guided tours are organised in the adapted "Höplers Wine Rooms".
