Hogg Robert

The British gardener and botanist Robert Hogg (1818-1897) was the author of the works "British Pomology" (1851) and "The Fruit Manual" (1860). In the second will too varieties described. He has also been a regular contributor to The Florist and Pomologist Monthly Magazine: A Pictorial Monthly Magazine of Flowers, Fruits and General Horticulture. In his honor was the variety Muscat Hogg named.
