The estate is located in the community Ockenheim between Bingen and Ingelheim in the German wine-growing region Rheinhessen
, It is run by siblings Armin and Diana Jäger, who are supported by Diana's son Benedikt Jäger. In addition to viticulture and vine processing and vine breeding is carried out. The vineyards cover 12.5 hectares of vineyards in the individual layers Hockenmühle, Cross, Laberstall and St. Jakobsberg (Ockenheim), as well as in the district Bingen
, They are planted to 60% with the white varieties Riesling, White Burgundy, Chardonnay, Pinot Gris, Silvaner, Muller-Thurgau and Gewürztraminer, as well as 40% with the red varieties Blue Pinot Noir, St. Laurent, Dornfelder, Portuguese, Neronet and Rubinet. These are self-produced and planted at intervals of well below 2 m² for the reduction of the single-storey load. Depending on the grape variety and type of maturation, whitewines are either whole-grape pressings, direct crushing or maceration of up to three days. The red wines are fermented with mash life of one to two weeks. Fermentation is temperature controlled. Every year around 90,000 bottles of wine are produced. Bottle-fermented sparkling wines and brandies (yeast, grape, fruit) are also produced.
