The winery is located in the municipality of Barberino Val d'Elsa (province of Florence) in the Italian region of Tuscany. The origin lies in an old Tuscan farmhouse. The farm was founded in 1980 by Vincenzo D'Isanto, a native of Florence, who planted the first vineyard. From 2005 onwards, his wife Antonella was also fully involved with the winery. Since 2017 the business has been managed by daughter Diana. The vineyards cover seven hectares of vines, some of which are in the immediate vicinity of the winery and others a few kilometres away. They are planted with the red wine varieties Sangiovese, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Mammolo. Only our own grapes are processed, which are exclusively obtained by selective manual harvesting in the vineyard and then rechecked on the conveyor belt.

After gentle pressing, temperature-controlled fermentation takes place. The wines are matured in French barriques, whereby care is taken to preserve the natural aromas by medium toasting. The product range includes various IGP wines Colli della Toscana Centrale. The premium wines of the house are "White Label" (18 months) and the cuvée "Black Label" from Sangiovese, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot (18 to 24 months). Both are only marketed after another two years in the bottle. Around 40,000 bottles of wine are produced annually, 80% of which go to the USA. The winery is a member of "Comitato Grandi Cru d'Italia", an association of renowned winemakers with many years of experience.
