The wine trade and production house "Imesch Vins Sierre SA" in Sierre in the Swiss canton Wallis was founded in 1898 by Léopold Imesch. Since 2003, 50% of the shares are owned by the Imesch family and the other 50% by the family Rouvinez held. The president is the granddaughter of the founder, Marie-Hélène Imesch. The vineyards cover ten hectares of own land in the Sierre and Côteaux Sierre appellations, and another 50 hectares are used to buy grapes from 120 contract growers. The wine line "Les Communes" (community wines) includes one Fendant (Chasselas), one Dole (Pinot Noir, Gamay), a Johannisberg (Silvaner), a Oeil de perdrix (Rosé from Pinot Noir) and a Pinot Noir. The Les Nobeles Cépages line is made up mainly of the autochthonous Petite Arvine, Cornalin d'Aoste (Cornalin), Cornalin du Valais (Rouge du Pays) and Humagane Blanche. Under "Les Terroirs" are vinified their own domain wines and "Les Coups de Coeur" the top wines of the house.
