The white grape variety is a new breed between Aleatico x Lacrima (?). Synonyms are Bruni 54 and Dorico. According to the year 2010 DNA analysis has registered parenting in the breed list Sauvignon Blanc x Verdicchio Bianco proved wrong. The crossing took place in 1936 in Italy by the breeder Bruno Bruni, The early ripening vine is resistant to Botrytis, It provides spicy white wines with easy bitter Taste. The variety is in the region Brands grown where they are in DOC wine Colli Maceratesi is allowed. There are also smaller stocks in the Umbria (Perugia).
