Ingram's Muscat

The red grape variety comes from England, Synonyms are Caillaba, Ingram's Hardy, Ingram's Hardy Prolific Muscat, Ingrams, Kaders Weinberg No. 30, Muscat Caillaba, Muscat d'Eisenstadt, Muscat Gros Noir Hatif, Muscat Ingram, Muscat Ingranis, Muscat Rustique Prolifique de Ingram and Prolific Muscat. The crossing or selection was made by a private breeder named Ingram. According to in 2013 DNA analysis is a presumably natural cross between Muscat Blanc x unknown partner. However, this is based on only 20 DNA markers (see under molecular Genetics ). The variety is called wine press and table grape used. It was a crossing partner of the new varieties Menoir. Muscat St. Laurent. Muscat Ottonel and Regner, No growing countries are known; no stocks were shown in 2010 (Statistics Kym Anderson ).
