Single location in the community Würzburg (Area Maindreieck) on the south side of the former bishop residence Marienberg in the German cultivation area Franconia, It was once owned by the Bavarian royal family. She has been knighting for centuries with the famous location stone for the first place. Both produce top-quality wines, with those from the inner groin more loveliness and those from the stone more power and fire is awarded. The name derives from the elongated shape along the slope. Formerly there were the three layers of rock ledge, inner ledge and outer ledge, which were later summarized under the current name. The centerpiece is the actual inner groin, which was only used in the 18th century for the cultivation of vines, while the surrounding outer groin was already planted 100 years earlier.
