Iodometry

iodometry (GB)

This chemical procedure (dimensional analysis) is used to determine the quantitative determination of various substances that react with iodine or release iodine from compounds. In a wine analysis, these are, for example, ascorbic acid, reducing sugar and free sulphurous acid. See also under units of measurement.
