The winery is located in the municipality of Schrattenberg in the north-east of the Lower Austrian wine-growing region of Weinviertel. The winery is rich in tradition and is run by Konrad Ipsmiller, the fourth generation of the family to do so. The vineyards cover 22 hectares, 70% of which are planted with the red wine varieties Zweigelt, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Blaufränisch and Baluburger, and 30% with the white wine varieties Grüner Veltliner, Welschriesling, Weißburgunder, Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc. Great importance is attached to completely healthy grapes. The white wines are fermented and matured in stainless steel tanks. The red wines mature in large oak barrels or in barrique barrels, depending on the type of wine.
