Jägersberg

Riede or location in the community Gamlitz in the Austrian wine-growing region südsteiermark (Region Styria ). It concerns a Subriede of Kranachberg, It is classified as "Erste STK Lage" (see in detail under Styrian terroir & classic wineries ). The lying at 350 meters above sea level vineyards are oriented to the south. The soils have a sandy-loamy structure with Kalkanteilen. They are therefore particularly suitable for Burgundy varieties (see Pinot ) such as Pinot Blanc, Pinot Gris and Morillon (Chardonnay) and give the wines a floral fruitiness and mineral Structure.
