Austrian specialty (also Jagertee, Jagatee), which is very popular as a hot drink especially in cold seasons. On ski huts this is an indispensable part of the drinks offer. The classic ingredients are 1 liter of red wine, 1 liter of black tea, 1 liter of orange juice, 1 liter of fruit juice (fruit fire ), 1 lemon, 1 orange, 30 cloves, 2 cinnamon sticks and 500 g sugar. red wine, Orange juice, Obstler and black tea are slowly heated with the addition of sugar. The orange and lemon are halved and with the help of cloves, the cinnamon sticks are placed on the fruit halves and also added. The mixture is then boiled briefly only once in order to obtain the alcohol as possible. The alcohol content is 12 to 15% vol. The recipe is (except Obstler, orange juice and tea) the mulled wine quite similar. The origin-protected designation may according to EU Regulation only in Austria be used.
