The estate is located in the municipality Kinheim (Bernkastel area) in the German wine-growing region Moselle, It is run by Erich and Rita Jakoby, supported by the sons Peter (viticulture technician) and Stefan ( IHK tested Wine consultant ). The vineyards cover 4.5 hectares of vineyards in the individual layers Hubertuslay, Römerhang and Rosenberg (Kinheim). They are planted with the white varieties Riesling, Müller-Thurgau and Kerner, and with the red varieties Pinot Noir and Dornfelder. The wines are marketed under the label "Jakoby pur". The white wines are fermented cool in the steel tank and expanded as typical of the variety. The Rieslings are dry, fruit sweet and noble sweet expanded. In appropriate years, ice wine is also pressed. The Pinot Noir matures partly in steel tanks to preserve the fruitiness and partly also in barrique.
