Kachichi

The red variety comes from Georgia, Synonyms are Abkazouri, Abkhazouri, Kachich, Kachichizh, Kachici, Kadzhidzh, Kagigi, Katchitchige, Katchitchij, Katcitci, Kattchitchi and Kattcitchi. The first mention was in the 19th century. The very late ripening vine is prone to real mildew, She produces dark colored red wines. The variety is grown in northwestern Georgia and neighboring autonomous Abkhazia in small quantities. She is also called table grape used. In 2010, however, no stocks were reported (Kym Anderson ).
