You white grape comes from Greece, Synonyms are Kako Tryghi, Kakotriguis, Kakotriki and Kakotryghis. It probably comes from one of the Ionian Islands, There is also a red berry variety or mutation called Kakotrygis Kokkino . The early ripening vine is prone to the wrong people mildew, It produces alcohol-rich white wines with moderate acidity. The variety is found in small quantities on the island Corfu (Kérkyra) grown.
