Kallfelz

The estate is located in the community of Zell-Merl (Burg Cochem area) in the German wine-growing region Moselle, In the family since the year 1540, that is operated since well over 500 years viticulture. In its current structure, the operation is run in the third generation. Since 1972 he is led by Albert Kallfelz. At that time, the vineyards covered only 1.8 hectares. The wines are vinified and marketed in the three lines Schoppenweine, Gutsweine (from best locations) and Selection (from the Grand Cru locations). 85% of the wines are dry-aged.
