The red grape variety is a new breed between Adisi x NO 15-7-1 (Vitis amurensis x Sladky Chernyi = Pinot NoirSP ). Synonyms are Karmrahiut and Karmraiute. They are genes from Vitis amurensis and Vitis vinifera contain. The crossing of the hybrid was done in 1950 by the breeder SA Pogosyan in Armenia, The variety is mainly grown in the West Armenian region of Armavir.
