Kefessiya

The red grape variety comes from the Ukraine; the name probably derives from the city on the Black Sea coast Feodosiya (Theodosia) from. Synonyms are Cefecia, Cefesia, Doktorsky Chernyi (Black Doctor), Kefe Izyum, Kefesia, Kefesiya and Kethessia. She is sometimes with the strain Ekim Kara (also means black doctor) confused.
