The white grape comes from Georgia, Synonyms are Kharistvala Meskhouri and Meskhuri Kharistvala. The parentage is unknown. To what extent a genetic link to the red variety Kharistvala Kolkhuri is not known. It is a pure female grape, It is cultivated in the southern region of Samtsche-Javakhetia, where it is called Kelter and table grape is being used.
