The varieties Riesling and Pinot Noir are cultivated here. The municipality of Varnhalt has the right to bottle the wines in Bocksbeutel. Shares in the vineyard are held, for example, by the wineries Kopp Johannes, Nägelsförst and Nieger Sven as well as members of the Varnhalt winegrowers' cooperative.
