Klosterkeller Siegendorf

The estate is located in the municipality Siegendorf in Burgenland DAC area Leithaberg (Austria). The company has been operating since 1988 by the Lenz Moser AG with headquarters in the municipality Rohrendorf in Lower Austria. The old vine stocks were cleared and set in the new plant mainly on red wine. The administrator is Simon Hahnekamp. The vineyards cover 24 hectares, which are combined in a single large vineyard. Of these, 21 hectares are planted with the red varieties Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Merlot, and 3 hectares with Pinot Blanc. It will be consistent with environmentally conscious viticulture Integrated pest management with for example greening (Permanent greening) practiced. The red wines are matured for 6 to 18 months in French Allier oak barrels. Every year around 100,000 bottles of wine are produced.
