The winery is located in the municipality of Margreid (province of Bolzano) on the South Tyrolean Wine Route in the Italian wine-growing area South-Tirol

). The farm was founded in the 1950s by Erich Kobler and consists of fruit and viticulture. Today he is led by Armin and Monika Kobler. In 2006, it began to process some of the grapes themselves. The vineyards cover two hectares of vineyards at 200 to 220 meters above sea level on warm, very permeable Kalkschottern on Margreider alluvial fan, and deep clayey or slightly sandy soils in the east and south of it located valleys.
They are planted with the white varieties Chardonnay, Pinot Gris and Gewürztraminer, and the red varieties Merlot and Cabernet Franc.
