The "Wein- und Sektkellerei Kössler" is located in the municipality of Appiano in the Italian wine-growing region of South Tyrol (Trentino-South Tyrol). Its origins date back to 1631 and it was taken over by the St. Pauls Winery Cooperative in 2005. In the KÖSSLER wine arbour on the village square of St. Pauls, wine tastings with vineyard tours and typical dishes are offered all year round on request. The white wine varieties Weißburgunder(Pinot Blanc), Chardonnay, Pinot Grigio(Pinot Gris), Müller-Thurgau, Gewürztraminer, Goldmuskateller and Sauvignon Blanc, as well as the red wine varieties Vernatsch(Schiava Grossa), Lagrein, Blauburgunder(Pinot Noir), Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot are processed. The cultivation is carried out according to natural, environmentally friendly methods. Most of the wines are produced as DOC Kalterersee, St. Magdalener and Südtiroler (Lagrein Kretzer etc.) in the styles "Classico" and "Sonderlinie". Among the premium wines are the selection wines Gewürztraminer Selezione and Blauburgunder Riserva.
