The grape variety originates from Greece. Synonyms are Corinthe Rose, Corinth Rouge, Corinthe Rouge, Koridi Koc, Piros Korinthusi, Raisin de Corinth and Red Corinth. It could possibly be a colour mutation of the red variety Korinthiaki. The rose-berry variety was a crossing partner in the new variety Revolta. The variety is mainly used as table grape.
