The white grape variety originates from Greece. Synonyms are Corghianitis, Kojanitis, Korgianitis, Koryanitis, Kouzanitis and Ngouzanitis. The parentage (parentage) is unknown. It is cultivated on the Ionian islands of Kefallonia and Corfu. It is used as a winepress and table grape. However, no stocks were reported in 2016 (Kym Anderson).
There is a vast number of sources on the web where one can acquire knowledge about wine. But none has the scope, timeliness and accuracy of the information in the encyclopaedia at wein.plus. I use it regularly and rely on it.
