The white grape comes from Greece, Synonyms are Corghianitis, Gikoyzanitis, Kojanitis, Korgianitis, Koryanitis and Kouzanitis. The parentage is unknown. She is on the Ionian Islands Kefallonia and Corfu grown. There she is mainly as table grape but also used for white wines. In 2010, however, no stocks were reported (Statistics Kym Anderson ).
