Kranzberg

single vineyard in the municipality of Nierstein (Nierstein area) in the German wine-growing region of Rheinhessen. It is part of the so-called "Red Slope" within the Rhine front. The Kranzberg is the cone in front of the village to the north with St. Kilian's Church in an exposed position. The Heise am Kranzberg, Franz Karl Schmitt, Schwiebinger and Hans-Hermann Staiger vineyards, for example, have shares in the site. There is a second single vineyard called Kranzberg in Rheinhessen in the municipality of Dalberg.
